Station established: 1801; Current lighthouse tower built: 1897; Automated: 1974 Construction material: Brick; Tower height: 41 feet; Height of focal plane: 45 feet Optic: Fifth order Fresnel (1856); Current optic: VRB-25 Characteristic: Flashing white every 7.5 seconds with a red sector Fog signal: Two blasts every 60 seconds

Accessibility: Although there has been limited access to the light station in the past, there is no longer public access. The road to the lighthouse is PRIVATE, and there is no parking. Annisquam Light may be viewed from Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, across the Annisquam River.

It can also be seen from a cruise offered by Harbor Tours, Inc. of Cape Ann
