Accessibility: The island and lighthouse are not
open to the public, but a view from the mainland is available.
From Route 1 in Orland, take Route 175 South. After about 22
miles, turn right onto Route 15 and continue for about five miles
south across a bridge to Little Deer Isle. On Little Deer Isle,
where Route 15 turns left, bear right through a triangular intersection
onto Eggemoggin Road. Continue for 2.7 miles to the end of the
road and park at a fishng pier, with a view of the lighthouse
about 1,000 feet offshore.
