Sunset Cruise with Mark Nesbitt from Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Sunday, June 24, 2012, 7 to 9 p.m.
$49.95 per person

Book cover
Our very special guest for this evening's narrated cruise aboard the Heritage will be Mark Nesbitt. Mark will share his insights gained from many years of research and ghost hunting at Gettysburg and other battlefield sites. Ron Kolek and Jeremy D'Entremont will also discuss the forts and other historic sites (including two lighthouses) of the Portsmouth Harbor area and their ghostly legends.

Mark  Nesbitt was born in Lorain, Ohio. He worked for the National Park Service as a ranger/historian for five years and then became a licensed battlefield guide. His job with the National Park Service provided him not only the opportunity to spend time in all of the historic buildings located in the Gettysburg National Park, but to actually live in four of the historic houses. Living in Gettysburg since 1971 has provided him with a unique “insider” perspective. Mr. Nesbitt started his own research and writing company in 1977. The Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours (www.ghostsofgettysburg.com) was named the 2009 #1 Ghost Tour in the World by the readers of HauntedAmericaTours.com.

We will lead you on a two-and-one-half hour journey navigating the same waters used for centuries by patriots, privateers, and pirates.

As you pass such historic and spooky places as the Thacher Island Twin Lighthouses, Straitsmouth Island Lighthouse, Dry Salvages, and Haulabout (Halibut) Point, Ron and Jeremy will share the history and legends of these places, as well as stories of their own investigations at haunted lighthouses and other locations.

Haunted Sunset Cruise with Brian Shepherd from Portsmouth, NH
August 2, 2012, 7 to 9 p.m.

Brian Shepherd
Brian Shepherd

We're very pleased to announce that Brian Shepherd will be joining us for this fascinating evening cruise aboard the MV Heritage in historic Portsmouth Harbor. Brian will share his insights with us as we cruise past the beautiful -- and sometimes spooky -- locations in the harbor, including two lighthouses and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Ron Kolek and Jeremy D'Entremont will also provide narration.

Famously known as the resident medium on TV's Most Haunted, Brian Shepherd is also one of the UK's best psychic artists. Brian  realized his abilities as a medium in his mid-teens, inherited he believes from his grandmother, who was also a medium. Although Brian did not particularly welcome that kind of revelation at such a young age, he gradually came to accept his psychic gifts as part of who he was.

The other natural gift he was given was an artistic ability, and he has worked for most of his adult life as an artist. Recently Brian has been particularly interested in contemporary land and cityscapes. His work has been exhibited nationwide. Brian has a particular interest in undertaking personal commissions for clients with an interest in the paranormal. In 1985, using his painterly skills and considerable artistic experience, Brian started a custom art business. Based in Hertfordshire, England, he divides his time between painting and partnering with the team at Most Haunted.
